Our regular organic tampons are made with a rolled wadding of long-fibre organic cotton, designed to gently absorb menstrual flow and expand widthways. We exclusively produce organic tampons because most are manufactured with a blend of non-organic cotton and rayon, and are often chlorine-bleached. Tampons typically come with a plastic wrapper, contain perfumes, and may even include dyes. Rayon is a highly absorbent fiber that rapidly soaks up menstrual blood but can also dry out the natural protective mucous lining of the vagina. Nobody should be exposed to pesticide residues, phthalates, azo-dyes, and dioxins, particularly in such a sensitive and absorptive area of the body. It's important to know exactly what you're putting into your body.
