Natracare offers organic super tampons with a smooth, easy-glide cardboard applicator, which is completely biodegradable. To use, simply twist to release and push. Most applicators are made from plastic or rigid bio-plastics, which commonly contain phthalates that can be absorbed through the skin, causing hormone disruption. Furthermore, these applicators do not biodegrade, contributing to worldwide plastic pollution.

Many rayon-blend tampons have a plastic veil to prevent fiber loss and can also contain added perfume or dyes, which is unnecessary for managing your period. This is why we exclusively use cardboard and organic cotton. We never use GM cotton or unnecessary plastic, keeping your vagina free from pesticide residues, plastic, toxic residuals, or rayon.
